AUSTRALIAN KINDNESS MOVEMENT

The "AKM" has been promoting kindness since 1994. The group was formed to help overcome the apparent drift toward a cold and impersonal society. Our major goal is to generate a greater sense of friendliness in the community through the medium of simple acts of kindness. When this is achieved, citizens will experience higher levels of caring and safety in the community.

World Kindness Australia LIMITED

WKA World Kindness Australia was formed by a father concerned about his young daughters and the prevailing growing culture of bullying in schools. He decided to promote kindness within schools to challenge cultures of Bullying.

World Kindness Week was placed on the school calendar and had the support of the parent bodies Department of Education Minister of Education and the Governor of NSW. 400 schools participated in events after hosting the 6th general Assembly for the World Kindness Movement in 2010.
