Kindness UK

Kindness UKKindness UK promotes, shares and unites kindness in all its forms under the belief that kindness can change the world. Our dream is that acts of kindness and good deeds towards the environment, people and animals become an integral part of everyone’s daily life.

As an independent, humanitarian and non-monetary organisation, Kindness UK believes that everyone is equal. We welcome participation from all origins, backgrounds, religions, agilities and orientations and work with a broad spectrum of organisations, schools, community groups, institutions and individuals.

Founded by humanitarian and children’s charity founder David Jamilly, Kindness UK hosts the Good Deeds Organisation www.thegooddeedsorganisation.com and celebrates Kindness Day UK/World Kindness Day on 13th November along with other kindness organisations.

The UK Kindness Movement

UKKM

The UK Kindness Movement is the think tank on kindness research and is a representative of the World Kindness Movement in the UK.

It’s aim is to explore and raise awareness of the impacts of consideration of others across the nation in order to encourage and promote the impacts of UK kindness both nationally and internationally as an improvement to the quality of life for all and a vital diplomatic tool.

It was formed in 2005 as an associate campaign of leading children’s charity Act Against Bullying to promote their kindness activities and initiate other pro-social projects. Since then it has designed and produced a range of original resources including school assembly notices, survey materials, award certificates and designed and carried out environmental and social promotions including Be Decent for a Day, Cool to be Kind Campaign, Cyberkind, Kindness Day UK, Nurse the Earth Campaign, and conferences such as Kindival and the UK Kindness Conference.

The UKKM is currently working with academics, religious leaders and government advisors in the UK on ideas to stimulate a more vitalised and empathetic nation.

Campaign for Courtesy

Do you detest foul language? Loutish behaviour? Hooliganism? And a general lack of respect for people and property?

Perhaps your city, town or village is becoming a ‘no-go’ area? If so, join our Campaign and help us to restore decency and good manners to our society.

With your support we will produce a powerful message to the British media. We will also seek the support of our Members of Parliament in seeking to outlaw the excesses of anti-social behaviour which blight the life in our cities, towns and villages throughout the United Kingdom. To this end we already have MPs from each of the three main parties supporting us as Patrons. Never has there been a greater need for an orchestrated voice to condemn those who seek to wreck the structure of our society.

Campaign for Courtesy’s profile now needs to grow, our activities are outlined elsewhere in this leaflet (and if you can be actively involved please let us know). In any event we hope you will join our ranks. Thank you.
